“RESTORING HOPE & VALUE FOR HUMAN EXCELLENCE”

R.I.S.E. Comprehensive Reentry Planning focuses on five areas: Faith, Critical Decision-Making, Workforce Preparedness, Technology, and Financial Literacy. Courses covering each area are conducted inside correctional facilities (CCDOC) providing support for the people and their plans upon release. Setting up individuals for success by help to ease and already difficult transition is an essential element of reentry.

ABOUT RISE

R.I.S.E. (formerly LWCC Prison Ministry)  captures Dr. Winston’s vision to “…build the ruined places and plant the which was desolate…” according to Ezekiel 36:33. The goal is the eradication of poverty and violence. Accordingly R.I.S.E.’s mission is to restore value, self-worth, and hope to the people and the community using employment, education, entrepreneurship as tools for developing self-sufficiency. Also R.I.S.E. reentry services champion Dr. Winston’s vision to turn “jails into boarding schools.” As such, R.I.S.E.’s model sees reentry beginning pre-release; where our educational offering spark a continuum of change that continues post-release.

ABOUT THE FOUNDER

Dr. William S. Winston is the Founder & Pastor of the 17,000 member Living Word Christian Center, Bill Winston Ministries, The Joseph Business School & CEO of Forest Park Plaza, LLC & other business entities. Winston’s teachings, writings, weekly television and radio outreach are circulated through his ministry outreach, Bill Winston Ministries and are aired worldwide via his broadcast program Believer’s Walk of Faith. Winston’s sermons are also aired on several radio networks within the United States. He is a graduate of Tuskegee University, former IBM executive and decorated Top Gun US Air Force veteran.
